Aging in Place

    Aging-in-Place Home Audit

A certified aging-in-place specialist (CAPS) maps every fall risk, lighting gap, and grab-bar opportunity in your home — with a prioritized to-do list to help you stay safely and comfortably at home.

    What the Audit Covers

    Fall-Risk Survey

Bathroom, stairway, threshold, and entry hazard mapping using a certified aging-in-place specialist (CAPS) checklist. Photographic risk register filed in your Digital Home Twin.

    Lighting & Visibility Audit

Lumens measured in every primary path. Hallway, stair, and bathroom under-lit areas flagged with specific fixture recommendations.

    Grab Bar & Adaptive Hardware

Code-compliant grab bar placement plan, ADA-compliant lever hardware recommendations, raised-toilet and walk-in shower assessments.

    Modification Coordination

We oversee the contractors who install the recommendations. One project manager, one invoice, and a re-verification visit when complete.

A Single Fall Can Change Everything

CDC: one in four adults 65+ falls each year; falls are the leading cause of injury-related death for this group. The average hip fracture costs ~$40,000 and often forces a move out of the home. Prevention is cheap. Recovery is not.
