    When you use our Owner's Representative service, we share necessary property and contact information with vetted contractors to facilitate repairs and projects. We only share what's necessary for them to complete the work.

    Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

    Access and Portability

    You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Your home records are always accessible through your member dashboard.

    Correction

    You can request correction of inaccurate personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.

    Deletion

    You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal retention requirements, pending transactions).

    Opt-Out

    You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Note that service-related communications (appointment reminders, service updates) are essential to our services.

    California Residents (CCPA)

    California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

    Access codes and sensitive property information are stored with additional encryption and are only accessible to technicians during scheduled visits.

    6. Documentation Consent Controls

    You have granular control over how we document your property:

    • Photo Documentation: Enabled by default. Our technicians photograph home systems to create your digital home record. You can disable this in your account settings.
    • Video Documentation: Disabled by default. When enabled, video may be used for detailed system explanations or walkthroughs.
    • Audio Recording: Disabled by default. When enabled, audio notes may accompany documentation for context.

    Your consent settings are enforced throughout our platform. Technicians cannot upload media types you have not consented to. Reports and shared dossiers will reflect your preferences.

    Changing Your Preferences: You can update your documentation consent at any time through Settings. Changes take effect for future visits only; existing documentation is not affected unless you request deletion.

    7. Data Retention

    We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account cancellation:

    • Account information: Retained for 3 years for legal and tax purposes
    • Home records: Available for download for 90 days after cancellation
    • Payment records: Retained as required by financial regulations
    • Access codes: Deleted immediately upon account cancellation

    8. Cookies and Tracking

    We use cookies and similar technologies to:

    • Keep you logged in to your account
    • Remember your preferences
    • Analyze website usage and performance
    • Provide relevant content

    You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of our services.
